House Washing
We strive to achieve the best results possible in the restoration of your homes exterior. Education and expectation are key to understanding the cleaning process of your homes exterior. We follow the industry best practices using low pressure and taking necessary steps to avoid damage.
House washing requires high volume and low pressure. People tend to focus on the highest PSI and in the case of house washing that is NOT what you want. High pressure can damage siding, window seals, light fixtures and electrical outlets. If your siding has oxidation you will be left with stripes that stand out and is not appealing.
GreenGo uses 8gpm and 4gpm machines with high volume nozzles around 500-1000psi
Roof Washing
The black stains on your roof aren’t just unsightly, the algae known as Gloeocapsa Magma is actually eating away at your roof and potentially shortening its life! The algae can be found on asphalt shingles, metal roofs and ceramic barrel tile. The cleaning process is the same for all roof types, high volume, low pressure but with a higher concentration of cleaning agent and a surfactant. To prevent damage to landscaping all plants and shrubs are heavily watered and covered to be protected from overspray.
Gutter Cleaning/Gutter Guards
Clogged gutters are a big contributor to water intrusion into a foundation and erosion around foundations. Clogged gutters and the resulting ground saturation create a breeding ground for insect infestation. We provide gutter cleaning as well as guard installation to keep that water flowing away from your home and foundation. Gutter guards are an increased cost but typically have a return on investment of 1-2 years depending on the frequency of service calls annually.
Gutter Brightening
Those black stripes certainly stand out against white polished aluminum gutters. Gutter brightening may be the solution to restore the bright finish. This service may not be safely applied to gutters that have severe oxidation where the finish is damaged. The service also can only be done 1-3 times over the life of the gutters because the cleaning agents may wear the finish off the aluminum.
Hardscape cleaning
Over time moss and weeds can take hold of your pavers. The cleaning process typically involves removing all the organic material and replacing the polymeric sand in the paver joints. Paver sealing is an option but we recommend occasional joint treatment for weeds/moss because the sealants do not last forever and stripping/resealing is costly.
Window Cleaning
Offering traditional method window cleaning as well as window screen cleaning.
High Pressure Cleaning Damage/Oxidation removal
This is an example of what can go wrong with high pressure on oxidized siding. The homeowner hired someone with the wrong equipment and no knowledge of safe cleaning practices.
Oxidation is a natural occurrence due to environmental factors such as pollution, UV rays and long term organic growth such as algae, mold, lichen and dirt/pollen. Oxidation removal is a time consuming and expensive service that can be provided but it’s considered a last resort.
